When we're working

Term-time? Mostly weekends. School holidays? Every day.

We're at school during term-time, so weekday slots are limited outside of school holidays. We work all day every day during the school holidays — that's when we have the most availability.

⚠ Weekend bookings are not guaranteed. We're a small crew and sometimes can't get enough hands free on a Saturday or Sunday — if that happens we'll be in touch within 24 hours to rearrange. Weekday slots during school holidays are always confirmed.

Do I need to provide water or electricity?

We use your outside tap for water — just point us at it when we arrive. No electricity needed: we don't currently use any mains-powered kit, so no extension leads either.

How long does a wash take?

Most Exterior Valets take 30 to 45 minutes, depending on how many of us are working that day and the size of the car. We'll always tell you a rough finish time when we arrive.

Do I need to be home?

Yes — we check in with you when we arrive (so we can quote a final price), and again when we're done (so you can pay). If you really can't be there, give us a call first and we'll work something out.

What if it rains?

If the weather turns bad — heavy rain, ice, or strong wind — we'll cancel and reschedule rather than do a half-job. We'll let you know as early as we can, and you don't pay for a wash we couldn't deliver properly.

How much space do you need to work?

Just enough room to walk all the way around the car. A normal driveway or parking spot is plenty.

Are bigger cars, vans or 4x4s the same price?

The £15 exterior price is for a normal car. Bigger or unusually mucky vehicles (vans, 4x4s, motorhomes, builder's wagons) might cost a bit more — we'll always quote you the final price before we start, and you can call it off if you're not happy. No nasty surprises.

What products do you use?

Professional valeting products throughout — we don't cut corners with supermarket spray.

How do I pay?

Cash in hand on the day, handed to whoever's washing your car. Card payments via Stripe are coming soon.

Is tipping OK?

Always welcome, never expected. The crew work hard and a tip goes straight to the person who washed your car.

Are you insured?

Honest answer — no, not yet. We're a small team of teenagers running this as a school-holiday business. We take massive care of every car like it's our own, and we'd never knowingly leave any damage. But if public liability cover is important to you, one of the bigger valeting outfits in Scarborough may suit you better.

Do you do Interior or Full Valets?

Coming soon. For now we're focused on doing one thing brilliantly — the Exterior Valet. Interior and Full will open up once we're ready to give them the same level of care.

How do I cancel or change my booking?

Log in to your account and you can cancel or reschedule from your dashboard — no phone call needed. Try to give us at least 12 hours' notice if you can, so we can fill the slot.
